The tiny tots of Rainbow Wing made it the talk of the town on Tuesday, 22nd of November 2011 by visiting the ‘Anandvan Greens’ which awaited to welcome them with unforgetable events resonating with music and dance. Our group of 150 students and eight teachers reached the breathtaking ambience at nearly 10:30 a.m. and were served with filling breakfast followed by a drawing competition divided in two categories for Classes I to III and classes IV to VI in which Yatharth, Sakshi and Koel bagged prizes in their category. Navya of Class V, Komal of Class VI and Ayush of Class IV A were adjudged the winners. Then we proceeded for a dance competiton on the dance floor and Harjeet of Class I, Tishika of Class IV A and Shaily of Class V won accolades along with our very talented teachers like Ms.Babita, Ms. Renu and Ms. Sonia who proved their worth on the dance floor as well. We were then escorted by their guide to the dream valley, the only one of its kind, which comprised of a beautiful jharna and lush green lawns with blossoming flowers. This was followed by hygenic and delicious lunch served by them with utmost love and warmth and relished by one and all present. We then visited the Sutar’s Kala Vatika which is maintained by Padmashri Ram V. Sutar’s Sculpture Academy. The Vatika presented beautiful sculptures of our leaders and exotic wild life. To conclude the trip, the students participated in an enjoyable statue dance and the prize giving ceremony by our respectable chief co-ordinator Ms. Sangeeta Taneja, without whose guidance and support, this try would not have been this much memorable and successful. The trip came to a halt at 4:45 p.m. when excited children reached the school premises safely and dispersed with appreciating notes. |
